The IRS and Stimulus Payment Rebates

Yesterday, I was asked about what form a citizen needs to fill out in order to get the stimulus payment the government recently authorized. I realized I really didn't know so I checked out the IRS website, and sure enough there was a link front & center of the home page entitled Rebate Questions? that brings you to more information about what is required to receive the rebate, depending on your filing status. Basically, you don't have to fill out any special forms, just file the 1040 as you normally would and whatever rebate you qualify for will automatically be issued to you later on when they distribute the stimulus funds.
